@camaj: I don't think the average young child could come up with all of the innovative level designs in the custom levels. That is talent, even if the rest is just a "simple copy" (though if you ask me he had to consider how to bring a modern polish to those old levels, and that's not always easy).

@MichaelPalin: Seems to me turning down the music volume is a PC gaming feature, so you can listen to your own music. With consoles, it's probably a lot more niche for people to do so. The only game I ever used this feature in was World of Warcraft... and that's obviously because with the repetitive grinding came

@Cromwell: For the sake of debate, the trend seems to be to give less control over these things to the user. Most western games nowadays have an autosave feature, not many games let you fiddle with controls and games are even figuring out ways to forgo things like inventory screens (Mass Effect).

@MichaelPalin: I suppose it depends on the game. I like the idea of not having to deal with menus at all, being able to just jump in and stay in the game.

That's funny. I always thought the future of game menus was no menus.

When I was working on an overly-ambitious Alistair mod project called A Bond of Blood, I talked to Dragon Age: Origins writer David Gaider some on the issue of homosexuality in the game, Alistair as a gay character and homosexuality in Thedas, the world of Dragon Age.

@DominusSapientia: As a gay man, even as we're getting gay marriage in California, I still want my romantic interests to be appealed to in video games such as Mass Effect. It has nothing to do with recognition of my real relationships and everything to do with recognition of my romantic interests as legitimate and

@coolbho3000: "Google charges you a processing fee of 5% + $0.30 per transaction; there are no other transaction costs." from [code.google.com]

@surft: As far as I can tell, he didn't do anything wrong. Google itself announced the pricing model here: [code.google.com]

@whoamarcos: I used PCs in contrast to mobile phone, but it's for any system that runs Google Chrome, it seems.

@PissedPS3Fan: Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if Google figured out a way to get ads into games. There's already ads in YouTube videos.

Let's compare the competitors:
