Having finally submitted to peer pressure, I binge watched Hannibal last week. I regretted my decision to watch it late at night (let's just say I may have awoken from a nightmare featuring flesh angels at the foot of my bed once or twice), but I do not regret watching the show.
Good Lord, it's so beautiful! Hannibal

"…longstanding implication that every Oxford professor has either murdered, been murdered, or committed some unspeakable act that prompted one of their students to murder people…"

I guess he had to find something to do now that he is no longer the one who quacks.

The Wilfred - Bear - Joffrey triangle had me exclaiming "This is sooo wrong" the whole time. If you remember all the gross things Wilfred has done with / to Bear, having a baby climb on Bear is just so gross.

Google tells me that Joffrey's name was established in last season's "Questions" episode, but that fact had completely slipped my mind.

That's a Twist I didn't see coming.

How can Will Smith produce a movie and not cast his son? A gender-swapped Annie would have been revolutionary! (and probably even more terrible than the remake sounds like it's going to be)

Who would want to have Joshua? After learning that the only winning move is not to play, this computer is probably more depressed than Marvin the Paranoid Android.

Quick, someone tell Angela Merkel. Germany needs to be prepared for the madness that will surely ensue once this news crosses the Atlantic.

Now that Fox has brought back Sarah Palin, CNN realised all it was missing was a crazy politician. It was just Newt's good fortune that he'd been sitting by the phone patiently waiting for someone, anyone to please please call.

I like how the bit of silliness that he brings to the table has rejuvenated the show. And the lawyer joke with added legalese was just hilarious.

"I is who I is and I'm not changing."

Yes, with DOMA stricken down, the Texas abortion bill defeated, and Paula Deen being fired there are definitely strong signs of something evil out there working hard to destroy good honest folk.

Because I feel like it reflects the peace one might find in death: Wir Sind Helden - Bring Mich Nach Hause
Because I fell in love with in after it was used on Boardwalk Empire and it reflects saying goodbye: The National - I'll see you in my dreams
Because it's just a beautifully sad song: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club -

Welcome back, Wilfred!

Apparently breaking up with Alex again led to him taking "Steak me home tonight" very literally. Glutton, j'accuse!

"Emma, please make sure you put some sunscreen on. We want the bags to be pure leather, not our faces."

No break for you, keep writing!

"This is Daenerys Targaryen, the Stormborn, the Unburnt, the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, the Mother of Dragons."
