I’ve been seeking only comforting tv this weekend and so I binge watched a lot of New Girl and then this morning I found out the Amazon Prime (here in India) just added all episodes of Psych so I’ve just had that classic odd-ball crime-solving music playing in the background for the day.

This is true. In Pune (current official spelling) it’s an area filled with white people and nobody really bothers them. I only go outside the ashram to buy those super cheap Osho flipflops with the mat/jute thing.

Oh, the last season of The Americans was really slow but now I’m super hyped for the end! And low key rooting for Philip and Elizabeth to be okay.

I had to add that I went to a very adult brunch type situation and all anyone would discuss there was this Wild Wild Country on Netflix and how creepy the history is, especially because it was happening so close to us here in India. So, yeah I guess I might give that a try even though cult docus are not my thing.

I watched Annihilation this week and really enjoyed the mindfuck it was. Spent a good hour in the “ending explained” and “book vs film debate” forums and then just proceeded to binge watch Season4 of Parks and Rec.

The Bride Quartet! It’s one of the earliest romance books I read and I only liked the one about the photographer.

After the showed those pictures from Fatima’s instagram, I checked it out and turns out she’s fighting cancer right now. She’s going through her treatment and losing her hair; it is pretty upsetting. I love her on the show, she’s just so honest and funny and I hope she gets better soon!

Oh, I feel so bad for Laura. Fatima was so right in saying that watching a chef who has been nominated for 2 James Beard awards doubt herself over something like an omelette is really hard.

Just a couple of months ago, Casual featured a character singing Landslide and then tonight Kate sang it and I’ve wept both times.

I love every scene with Beth in general and specifically in this episode. They’ve done such a good job in writing these characters and their marriage and just setting up lovely, unrealistic #Relationshipgoals for me.

I hope whatever fall out there is from this Dro situation makes Molly go back to therapy and really deal with her life better. (God, Dro is hot)

I'm apprehensive about the future Jane and Raf story but I was so impressed (and weepy) with the writing and the acting in that drunk phone call that I'm just going to trust this show and it's makers.

I really enjoyed that Thanksgiving episode. It was funny and beautiful and it felt so familiar somehow (especially the weed smoking bit).
Did not care for the whole romance story in this season, at all.
