Glass? I've dropped my Moto Droid at least 20 times for 4-5 feet (I'm stupid and throw my phone in the air when I'm bored) and it's survived. My phone only has one corner slightly rough from dropping it on concrete and the metal grate below the battery dented from all the torture. It still works fine.
