Huh? No, I assume the human director who died was—wait for it—human. Crow's New Hair made a joke about the dead human director. So…swing and a miss for you!

Well…stop doing that. :)

Really? You're doubling down on your ignorant first post with a baseless second one? You're either an idiot or trying, weakly, to be funny. Either way, what an a-hole…

Can't tell if you misread or are making a joke…

I'm pretty sure "sadly under-appreciated" was just AV Club snark. ME is not under-appreciated.

Mocking the death of a fellow human? You must feel so proud of yourself.

Did you not bother to read the article before commenting?

I'll jump into the flames with you. I couldn't get past the first few hundred pages of the first WoT book. It was a tedious slog through someone's world-building notes, not a worthwhile read at all. The more I read, the more furious I became at having wasted money on the book.

Being a producer doesn't imply knowing anything about the material.

Try reading the article before commenting next time.

Fantasy. Sanderson writes fantasy. Whether he's the worst such writer in history is up for debate, but it's fantasy that he writes, not science fiction. He's only written one or two SF novellas compared to his vast body of fantasy novels and stories, so…not a science fiction writer. (And The Wheel of Time is not

But in this case, the egregious cliche fits like a glove.

I think the word you're looking for is "actor." ;)

I'm pretty sure the skills involved in making fake dragons for TV are incredibly useless for curing cancer. :)

Why? Because they cast actors to play characters? What, exactly, did you expect them to do?

Yes. Yes, I do.

I'm deeply, deeply sorry. Go ahead with your amazing jokes.

Jokes require an element of humor. There was no indication that your comment was intended as a joke. So, yes, seriously.

The song was called "Epic." It is fairly standard to put song titles in quotation marks, so there is nothing wrong with saying Faith No More is the "Epic" band.
