I particularly love the "Money creates taste" poster. Coming from Vogue Italia, you can imply so many fun stuff
I like the "Money creates taste" poster. You must realize that institutions are made by people. Maybe, and just maybe, you got a creative director that see and understand the dictatorship of fashion in this world, but it's trapped there by the money he wins.
I liked the movie, I don't mind bad storytelling, if the story has a nice premise. Example: I enjoyed Prometheus.
Sure. I watched two movies that exemplifies this: Cosmopolis vs Total Recall. And I must say, both were FUN
Nope, I think they are in some kind of competition. Some kind of bonus for executives that generates the most hate. This week Disney is winning, if you also consider that Disney show bashing on open source software
Don't underestimate the power of peer review
The kids doesn't seem very happy in that classroom...
lol
Strange, I moved to Mac a long time ago, and this is the first time ever I'm curious enough about a Microsoft OS to actually try it. I probably won't use it, because I just plain hate classic Windows interface, but it find very nice of Microsoft for finally trying something new (and finally hiring some real designers)
Actually it's the first Windows I'm willing to give a try, because it's the first Windows that doesn't look like crap. Too bad they are maintaining this "Classic Windows" bullshit...
I liked Battle for Wesnoth on Linux, and it seems it has ports for iPad and Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androthsoft.battle
Battle for Wesnoth? Never played on Android, but I loved this game when I used Linux: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androthsoft.battle
They didn't explained, but implied several times it was a nuclear war (mushroom war), even on the opening there is some failed nukes around: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111220055746/adventuretimewithfinnandjake/images/thumb/e/ea/Vlcsnap2010060102h57m35.png/1000px-Vlcsnap2010060102h57m35.png
Also there's that Inception episode, where they see Marceline as a kid growing on a devastated post-war wasteland
No, they made very clear that a nuclear war destroyed all civilization (The Great Mushroom War) and my theory is that the radiation brought all those wonderfully strange creatures to life.
Maybe reading the book helps.. I was amazed by the book, and when I finally watched the movie, I got myself wondering how people who didn't read the book before would fully understand it..
I'm a developer, and I'm thinking in making my app free for other reasons:
Leonard, from Ugly Americans can explain all that:
