Ok, I'm being a bit harsh on them, and I agree it was a mistake from the showrunners, but you have to agree that Stargate fans where too harsh on the show, maybe because of the cancelation of Atlantis

Ok, the first season was a little slow, but I enjoyed the show. I like how they humanized Stargate, how the characters were flawed and error prone, like humans, and unlike, you know, Sheppard, Ronon and Rodney.

I hate Stargate fans for killing such awesome series like Stargate Universe just because it hasn't the cheesiness of the previous ones.
