While I totally understand where Hayter is coming from, I genuinely don’t think Kojima was ever the one pushing to replace him. That feels entirely like a Konami move. The MGS series, despite being critically acclaimed and adored by fans, has never sold huge numbers. Trying to replace Hayter with the likes of Kurt…

But why? Its Big Boss. He wasn’t complaining when Richard Doyle took the character from him in MGS4. He shouldn’t get to complain in MGS5.
