I agree with you 100%. The in-game info saying that “Killing has consequences” immediately sways you to avoid killing. So you play to avoid it best as you can, but silly things like leaving an unconscious body on the floor can result in a kill because the rats will eat him / her off screen.

I ended up wasting so much…
