I hope we all see the irony in someone winning a “For Honor” competition in a strikingly dishonorable fashion. Not just the exploit but that after winning he shot off a “wow this was so easy, I didn’t even practice,” line. Honestly I’m half inclined to think it was intentional.

Let me help explain. Imagine being a white male applying to work for Blizzard and it’s your fucking dream.

They are not a finalist. They are a Walmart exclusive semi-finalist flavor that’s not eligible for the grand prize.

But what if I make a Souls clone that plays like a team based shooter with some moba elements that utilizes cards?

One of the higher-ups at Monolith is married to my cousin.

Back in my day, it was purely a publishing house. I was a testing lead, worked on Barbie Dreamhouse Party, their Adventure Time games, and many others. Development was always something they wanted to sink their teeth into, I’m glad that they’re finally getting their opportunity!

I pledged money (only $20, thankfully) and can confirm that I will never get it back.

Reminder: 4 people spent over 2500 dollars to be IN THE GAME. Such a shame stories like this pop up all the time. Well, hopefully they knew they were making an investment and not buying the game, otherwise they’re gonna be REAL mad.

You are kind of using hindsight bias, no one knew off the bat that Highgarden was a target at the time.
