But not sober enough to bring up Peter Quill's engagement to X-Man Kitty Pryde, I take it. Lush.

Unless you live in North Carolina…
LISTEN, KID! I've been hearing that crap ever since the Dissolvers were here. I'm out there busting my buns every day! Tell your old man to drag Dickachu and El Dan up and down the comment section for 8 hours a day!
This episode was neither the worst nor the best. I'm really disappointed in how low-key John's hello to the viewers was though. I need the extended "YOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUURRRRR" back please.
Hopefully there's no Quvenzhané Wallis type nominated this year.
I haven't heard the interview, but based on this summary, I feel like he wasn't really complaining. It was just a surprising fact he was sharing. Typical interview banter.
Fair. I'm really only judging Bunn off of his Magneto solo comic. I greatly enjoyed that one. I either haven't read or don't remember most of his other Marvel stuff. His Uncanny run has been pretty decent, imo. Not sure about where he's taking M right now though.
I was thinking of New Avengers as well. It would probably make my top-ten list if I had one. And Ultimates would be top five. Really great storytelling and art.
Glad to see some love for The Fix. I digitally subscribed sight unseen because I loved Superior Foes so much and I have not been disappointed.
Has God Loves, Man Kills been done?
If I had to pick just one, I'd go with Vision. Honorable mention for Marvel comics would go to Ultimates, Gwenpool, and Squirrel Girl. I've really enjoyed The Fix, I Hate Fairyland, and Paper Girls over at Image. Saga is always excellent too, of course, but I trade wait that one. I read the first Bitch Planet,…
Gwenpool is great. Don't let the bastards grind you down.
I actually really like Cullen Bunn and Dennis Hopeless, so I'm glad they're sticking around with the relaunch. I've liked some stuff that Jeff Lemire has done in the past too. But you're right that it would be nice to see someone established with a really different vision for the line come in and shake things up.…
Today is the day then. I didn't discover it until after I'd already been listening to Clumsy for quite a while, but I think I like it better as an album now.
Starseed is one of my favorites too. I think my other favorite is probably Hope from the same album.
Actually, I lied. I just realized it was Starseed and not Naveed. I was trying to hear pissed off Naveed in my head and couldn't do it. Starseed makes way more sense.
I think I've told this story on here before, but I saw them as part of a radio station festival around 2000. Some drunk douche bag threw a glass bottle on stage and Raine freaked out. He started screaming and cursing at the guy and challenging him to come on stage and fight. Of course, security grabbed the guy up…
I'm torn between that one and "White Discussion."
I keep hearing it's good and I liked Parenthood, but I just can't do it. I think I may be out on new network dramas period. It's just too many episodes to keep up with and there usually ends up being a lot of wheel-spinning.
Are Deep Blue Sea and Lake Placid similar enough to count? One has sharks and the other an alligator, but they're forever linked in my mind due to their release dates.
