It might have been a PTSD thing, but since Lex and Cousin Bitsie both had powers, James probably does too.

I think there also was a nice subtle element to Kara when hashing out her issues with Lena being thrown off by realizing that Alex is on Lena’s side, and that since Alex doesn’t know that they are sisters she isn’t able to count on the support of the one person who always has her back
Lex wasn’t trying to kill James, he was just trying to injure him badly enough that Lena would cure him (and Lex)
Colonel Haley’s gradual turn to the light seemed equally highlighted by her accepting Supergirl’s donuts (Supergirl and Flash initially bonded by their mutual love of donuts!) and her agreeing with Alex that Supergirl would never have launched a homicidal attack like that
Agreed. I think a massive opportunity was wasted with Flashpoint. That could’ve been a massive 6-8 part crossover across all 4 shows, giving a bold, alternative timeline.
I’m still calling it Arrowverse. It earned that by moniker by virtue of Arrow being the one to start everything. Even when the show ends, that won’t continue to be the case.
Speaking of Ralph: where the hell has he been? This makes two weeks in a row he’s been MIA.
Maybe they just loved Cavanagh’s performance as Thawne. I know I did.
Then again, it’s not as if Barry Allen is famous. All Dwyer knows for sure at this point is that the Flash is a guy who looks vaguely like John Mulaney.
Unbelievable! If this show were accurate at all, Barry would have - maybe - let Cisco pitch the Swedish Fish candy at him, sure, let said candy morsel pelt him limply, why not, but he would have certainly “Woosh!” - Super Speed - grabbed that sucker before it hit the floor. Swedish Fish fail!
If you don’t want to use it as a weapon, don’t tell the government you have it.
I would love it if King Shark wore Hawaiian-print style swim trunks (and maybe sunglasses?)
Ah ha. That's why the Enterprise doesn't have holograms.
Agreed :-) The fact that he moves like a piece of kelp under water in EVERY scene shows how committed he is to the role, and I adore that. Those actors are what make for the most memorable Trek characters.
And that new engineer loves Prince.
“Hey, anonymous criminal colleague”
Iris didn’t tell anyone she was going to Cicada’s house, did she?
She had it when she first got there, but didn’t have it when she got caught trying to sneak out (and then pretended she had just opened the door from the outside). So when she picked it up to leave, it tipped him off that she’d been there the whole time.
“My friend Wikipedia tells me Irene only appeared in one of A. Conan Doyle’s Holmes stories—and not as a love interest, although she’s been portrayed that way many times since.”
I’m turning into a broken record about Ralph, but I’m liking the character more and more this season. Him locking Barry in the truck might just be about one of the most interesting things he’s ever done.
