The term “professional” has less to do with skill and more to do with “getting paid to do it”. As you can tell from the clips, this guy was far more skilled in the position than a forward would be (he robbed Stastny FFS), he just happens to not have played seriously since college.

I’d go out on a limb and say that Oprah’s entire demographic falls well outside the average age of Snapchat’s core users. Beyonce would for sure have a huge impact, but the reality is the venn diagram of Snapchat users who know (or care) about Oprah has little to no overlap.

Nemesis could have been great if it had been put into the hands of someone who actually knew and liked Star Trek.

Insurrection is the most Next Generation of all the TNG films. And that’s really the problem. TNG at it’s core was never going to fit on the big screen. To make it onto the big screen you either had to make it into something that it wasn’t (far more action...less thinking). Insurrection was far more true to what TNG…

The odds of ALL of those coincidences just happening to coincide are astronomical enough that you would have to be in an absolute fog of denial to believe it. There is NO MATHEMATICAL CHANCE that ALL of those design elements just happen to coincidentally come together in two different works by happenstance.
