Whatever, douche.
Whatever, douche.
Didn’t even ask the most important question:
I also want to add that, if you haven’t already, read This:
Mick Dundee - The Australian Kelpie/Rottie cross.
Oh man, to be honest I’m on my lunch break and so I sadly don’t have enough time to craft a proper response to this. But I an tell you that I know what you’re going through. I go through it a LOT myself. I get by without meds and occasionally speaking with a councillor.
I only have one thing to talk about:
The walls of reality will come crashing down. One minute, you’ll be the saviour of the rebel cause, and the next thing you know you’ll be Cohaagan’s Bosom Buddy, you’ll also have fantasies about alien civilizations as you requested. But in the end back on Earth, you’ll be lobotomized.
I am not generally picky in the least. But fava beans and turnips are about the only two foods that I will not touch...ever.
Meh. Honestly I’ve never seen the hate. I’m on G+ daily and I’ve NEVER EVER EVER considered it a “social media” platform. I know that they touted it as some giant facebook killer, but IMO that’s pretty much where they went wrong from the start. It’s simply not designed properly to kill Facebook.
They are the biggest actor by far, and not to be fucked with trivially
Actually, it was based on an attempt at being a humorous smart-ass.
Oh I know. I was merely being facetious for the purpose of making a larger general point.
Oh I’m sure there’s a fair number of neckbeards in there as well too. But the economic freedom to live in their parents basement, drink Fanta and dox women on the internet comes from the same western privilege as Audi’s and SoHo lofts.
At a guess, I’d say that most members are probably citizens of western nations. Most of them are full of white privlege looking for something to rebel against to make themselves forget that they went to college on daddy’s money and wait tables in SoHo to pay for their shitty overpriced loft apartments.
I’m a firm believer in the single system model. There are probably hundreds of civilizations that reach the level necessary to colonize their own star system. But for a lot of reasons it’s simply unreasonable to expect that they want/need to go any farther than that.
The iPhone has the largest selection of apps on the mobile side...
So, when a person falls on hard times and they’re forced to pawn their computer and keyboard for grocery money, they’re literally hawking a logi?
No. It doesn’t miss the point at all. You are right that there is no main character. That IS the problem. At a certain point, the reader comes to the realization that there really is no over-arching story. Martin has no real series spanning plot. He’s simply going through the random motions of these people’s lives…
