The recent latest season of Staged went far too far up its own arse.

You’re thinking of the next door (recently cancelled) ride, Splash Mountain.

A Muppet Big Thunder Mountain is a great idea.

Sounds good - more Tennant, more Sheen, more Hamm, less all the slightly dull stuff not involving them from series 1.

As of last week I would have said that UK television rarely commits to the big hoax these days, but then this week Channel 4 went big.  It’s just a shame that now that we have more than 3 or 4 channels these things don’t have the same impact.

Hook, line and fucking sinker.

Good call on the 1989 Woman in Black - alongside Salem’s Lot it traumatised a generation of British 80s TV watchers.

That and Colin Firth’s surprise appearance.

“Best summer hits” would rule both out for different reasons.

Assuming from your comment that the spoiler alert was a late addition to the piece, was the headline also different? If I saw an article advertising a discussion of the final line of a movie I’d yet to see, I’d probably guess it might contain spoilers.

Nice touch including Emma Mackey to hammer home how much she looks like Margot Robbie.

Where is Le Petomane?

As did The Guardian.

It’s not a great start to your article entitled “21 actors you didn’t know were musicians” when the first example literally says “It’s no secret that famed character actor Fred Armisen is a drummer (and singer and guitarist)...”

I’m always comforted by the fact that Charlie had a great idea at the end of the Italian Job. So it was all fine.

I liked the Bowie set personally but Queen were great. But Queen more than anybody must have made millions and millions from the boost they got in record sales, all off the back of trying to raise millions for famine relief.

If the Muppets performance of I Go to Rio doesn’t put a massive smile on your face, you’re not human.
