His standards have dropped so low he was willing to appear in the excruciatingly bad “Hold the Sunset”.  The only question that remains is, is the original so good that it won’t be tarnished by the inevitably terrible reboot?

This.

Flowery twats.

Of course the physical medium showing no sign of disappearing, is pretty much the oldest one.  Books.

I saw it when originally broadcast, and to be honest every time I “correct” an -ize to an -ise when reviewing reports in work, a little part of me feels a bit uneasy about it.

I remember being shocked seeing that episode. However apologise is in (more) common usage in Britain, and I tend to use any alternative spellings that distinguish my writing from that of an American.  No offence.

It’s the go-to “I need cheering up” film for my 24-year old daughter.

Both are great fun - arguably the second is better.  “Definitely not fat.  Is this kind of what you’re looking for?”

By “wrestler-turned-actor”, I assume you mean “actor”.

That depends on which accent he decides to use. Most of the dodgy British accents on Frasier came from Brits.

As long as it includes Stephen Fry as Jeeves and a de-aged Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster, I’m in.

Midichlorians.

I don’t have room in my life for another one of these shows but isn’t this just a slight variation on The Mole?

They should just run the show up until the point where The Windsors starts, and just rerun that, as most Crown watchers won’t have seen it, and it’s basically the same thing.

That may be true, but it doesn’t reflect my standpoint.  I don’t think it’s not very good because it’s unoriginal.  I think it’s not very good because it’s not very funny.

But this would be a new show that can set its own tone. Although I agree on the Cheers characters appearing on Frasier (with the obvious exception of Lilith).

And a journalist who covered Woody’s election to the City Council.

A hallucination based on a hopeless radio jingle composer who once worked for the bar.

..or five.

In fact, I think they should have gone the whole way and made it a Frasier and Cheers reboot, called, oh I don’t know, Frasieers?
