Spare 2: Aristocratic Boogaloo

Pedant’s corner - Stonehouse didn’t fake his disappearance, he faked his death. His disappearance was successfully accomplished (at least temporarily).

...but he abides.

I really didn’t think the implications of all that through at the time. More recently I saw a show where people react to old shows and movies, and everybody was horrified by it.

Lazenby’s not great but it’s a very good film.

I still can’t quite make up my mind whether he breaks the fourth wall there.

Why should Larry want to be Bond? Fixing babies’ spines is just as valuable as acting!

Essex?

A million times, yes.

Showaddywaddy are already on it.

Given Stockard Channing was 34 when Grease came out, I’d always assumed she’d been repeating her final year for over a decade, so could easily be included in this show.

Haven’t you seen James Hewitt?

I’m surprised nobody (to my knowledge) has set a movie around an awards ceremony/campaign.  For example, wouldn’t it be great to see an actor nominated for an Oscar in a movie where their character is nominated for an Oscar?

A quick DNA test and we could be done with all this nonsense.

I don’t think it needs any double-meaning. Being the “spare” in the “heir and a spare” is sufficiently illuminating as a title.

I’ve never seen that before, and was a bit taken aback by the censoring of the line “other boys check you out”!

The 2023 equivalent of having a mate who does cocaine.

Ironically Harry is probably the least inbred.  Frankly I just wish he’d take a paternity test and then none of this would be an issue anymore.

I’d also generally associate the word with theatre acting, and he is very much a movie actor.

From my initial glance at that photo on the homepage, I was wondering if they were bringing back Homeland.
