Yeah - that was a pretty ballsy statement, but I think the broad sentiment applies.

They’re stuff on SNL is generally mildly amusing, but the joke often doesn’t stay funny until the end of the sketch.  Stretching their work to film-length seems....ambitious.  But good luck to them - they seems nice enough dudes.

I only assumed that after she drove off without him!

Did it show them arriving in one car?  I’d assumed they must have both driven there in their own cars.
