Super stupid on those drivers’ parts and yes, and underpasses are NOT a safe spot in a tornado. That particular storm in Des Moines pretty much fired up outta’ nowhere in about 30 minutes’ time, and featured baseball-sized hail (3" diameter!). I can see why drivers freaked out and got stupid on I-80.

I have one of these 9-3 combis in manual flavor, same year, similar miles, etc. Great little wagon! I’m into mine for far less, but yes, market money for a manual 9-3 combi in Saab circles is realistically $5500-6k. Knock the price down and NP. But this? Pass.

Gorgeous rig! Nice find! While those aftermarket lights are buuut-tugly, they’re probably much, much better than the stock 9004-lamped orbs of darkness. Maybe find a set of Euro-spec ZJ headlights, if the light output patterns resemble E-Code patterns?
