I pitched a few ideas about where the series would go. I'm plotting book three now. There are going to be five in the series.

I wanted to do a book about what 'Jack the Ripper' had come to mean culturally, and take the myth apart a bit. Because it is a myth. Fortunately, my coppers deal with myths. I know several coppers and analysts who've been kind enough to help out with the detail.
