Admittedly, the SE version of that scene was an edited version with something passing in front of the camera added to hide the cut.
He didn’t keep that scene where Biggs is recommending Luke to Red Leader? That’s a bit sad, because it was in the 1977 release, but dropped when it was renamed Episode IV.
You do see Han reaching for his pistol under the table and preparing to fire, so it was pretty obvious (why else would the table explode and kill Greedo?).
