Here’s my Badge count since the Japanese Release of the game. I play using the free Plays and paying to play to complete the sets I like.

Also, here’s my Badge count on my Japanese version since release up to this point, and yes I have paid to play.

Yes, I can also confirm that you can earn free trys through a “once-per-day” practice machine. You play a random real table but the badges are wooden. You don’t keep the wooden badges but the more you grab, the more likely you are able to find a hidden bonus play for the real game.

I’ve been playing this since the Japanese Release. I only go after badges that I really like. Collecting is super fun, but that’s just me. I know it’s not for everyone.

With my experience of playing 2 different sessions with Download play, it isn’t bad at all! There was no lag for me or the other 3DS’. The download play actually makes save data so if the others want to eventually buy the game, you can transfer over what you have collected from the Download play Session! I don’t know…
