The command to uninstall did not work for me. I had to navigate to C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\ and run the command .\OneDriveSetup.exe /uninstall. Also, the OneDrive section of the left menu in File Explorer persisted until I made the registry changes recommended in the link provided in the article.
