To be fair, I think Mike did quite a bit this season: he's the one that pretty much infiltrated Gus' operation. So he had plenty of good bits this season IMO. So many silent montages of him doing stuff.

I wonder if Howard's arc is truly closed out, or if they will have him return, maybe as an antagonist to Jimmy next season?

I would like to see a lot more Kim next season. Now that Chuck is presumably out of the picture, Jimmy will need someone else to play off of. Should be Kim.

We also see this episode that the attempt to resume her workload literally made her tune out.

All the performances this season have been top-notch, but McKean was absolutely outstanding here, as was Michael Mando.

Ok, someone save me from having to run the video and tell me what the Jessica Chastain movie is, cause I need more Jessica Chastain in my life.

I really like that McLaughlin is playing two very different roles this season. Makes it a unique experience. Dougie cracks me up, and Ray is menacing is all hell. Kind of a perfect ying/yang thing.

Regarding the sense of predicability this episode,

There was a time when I was binging the early S3 episodes late at night last month, to catch up, and I would drift off to sleep. But it wasn't out of boredom.

"I couldn’t help but laugh a little when Richard attempted to wash the blood off of the front of his truck with a bottle of water and his bare hands. It was such a perfect metaphor for the ultimate foolishness of his character."

Wonder if Shane Black punched up the script or worked in some dialogue?
