I mention this song in a comment below (above?), but anyone who hasn't heard the B-side/outtake from this album "Ship in a Bottle" should do so immediately. I can't imagine why he left it off US release of the album, it's so beautiful: http://www.youtube.com/watc…

I agree, there are some great ones that aren't on there - Runners Dial Zero leaps to mind. As does Ship in a Bottle.

Sunday Sun is the most Beatlesque song Beck ever recorded.  Sounds like something John Lennon would have put together circa 1968.

I've seen Beck live three times, and his performance of Get Real Paid in 2002 - all by himself, on the turntables - was the single best song in any of the shows.  Great, great stuff.

Or Get Real Paid or Nicotine & Gravy or Hollywood Freaks.  It's stellar.

I've always felt that song was about 9/11.

Midnite Vultures is "woefully weak"?  Explain.  That album is a total blast.

This.  Totally.

These clips remind me how awful laugh tracks can be.

The cat goes….in….. MRROOWWWWWWR!!!

This guy is an ass.

Isn't that Todd Phillips?

The pope wear a funny hat?

Too bad this list is just TV, because I loves me a good discussion of Glenn from Raising Arizona.  YOU'RE CRAZY!! YOU'RE CRAZY! I PITY YOU!!!! [THUMP]

Floyd, where are you? All I got is fuckin' Floyd.

"Stop remembering old TV and get to work."  Somehow it is Marge's line, not Homer's, that makes that scene genius.

Any particular reason you continue to watch a show that you apparently despise?

I wasn't aware anyone thought Kramer v. Kramer was seriously flawed.  How so?

They're both great, and they're both kind of hard to watch.  I like discrete scenes in both.  Tim Hutton's last session with his shrink is astounding acting.
