You can actually rotate the hand controls a few degrees downward if you want.  Might help put those ride mode buttons in line of sight.

All of the glowing reviews has me convinced that this is what I want in a flexible touring bike, I’m THISCLOSE to putting in my deposit for a Special.

If H-D is going to survive it needs new customers and entry-level just isn’t in the cards. This type of well-engineered offering to a new market segment is a great start.

I’m honestly shocked this exists and love it. Gives me hope for Harley surviving!

Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki have joined a consortium to develop swappable batteries for their bikes that will work across all brands rather than being proprietary.

I’m not really sure. No full review has been released yet (supposed to come Friday I believe), but all the murmurs are that the feature is pretty seamless and works great.

Obligatory:

If you get the top of the line model and then add on the adaptive suspension, the bike lowers itself when you come up to a stop.  It’s damn cool, and really surprising that something like this is coming from Harley and not BMW.

Clearance compared to other ADV bikes? Looks kinda inadequate to me.

I dig it. It’s 80's future retro done well in my eyes.

Is it any more difficult to stand up than other full fat ADV bikes like say a GS, Tiger 1200, or 1290 Adventure? The announced weight of something like 535lbs sounds fairly reasonable for the class, but how high up is it placed?

Nah, it’s a very good looking adventure bike. 

Does Harley Offer matching off road apparel?
