For lots of reasons. “With cars you have personal experience with” - did you ever own the pre European design fusion (although 2013-2019 are nice as well) that prehistoric 2.5 4 cylinder and 3.5 v6 were both extremely reliable. I believe they came to exist from the days of the Mazda partnership, but I’m glad they did!

Well keep in mind, even non hybrid suvs, under 7 passangers, get close to 30 mpg highway. Just 10 years ago large sedans could barely do that. Once hybrids are easily accessible, they will be much more affordable. So, the “what if gas...” scenario kinda becomes irrelevant. Take Ford for example. Killing off all the

Screen brightness, wireless connections (Bluetooth, nfc, wifi roaming, data etc.etc.) turn off - biggest thing for me is draining all the way down to 5% and charge all the way up routinely scheduled. Power cycle / charge phone while off up to 30% then turn on power. Clear cache for apps not used frequently. To get the

I totally agree. it seems like it’s a blatant rip-off of Ford’s F-150 2.7 v6 with no advantages other than to confuse the customer and thinking it’s the same motor.plus with their 2.7 v6 you actually get a $300 rebate so it’s actually not much more money. And if my math is right, then I would actually make it cheaper

2-3 year old Edge Sport Awd 2.7L v6 turbo? Since new edge St coming, should be able to get one fairly cheap. Maybe even a 2017 left over? It’s essentially a big hatchback with awd and still fun! Plus able to tune, carry those dogs, workers, family, and have a blast on the way home. Or maybe I'm just a moron...

High mileage lease is definitely the way to go. You can get good mileage from lots of suvs out there. 24 month leases can be decent if you put several grand down. For example. If you drive 30,000 miles / year on say a Ford edge SEL you could always buy it out at the end and still be cheaper than having purchased it

This thing isn't as high as you're imaging to make these '' points''. With the seats and rear cargo door, you can slide right in, putting kids into car seats is easier, and putting /removing items from the back IS much easier. Load by your knees and reach in and pick up, rather than bending over, pulling the item

And is no one going to mention the fact hybrids save your brakes? Had a c-max and only had to replace them after 135k because of rust.

Ehhh you don’t 'recall’ the last 7+ years of dodge? See what I did there 😅

Gotta be able to do the job first to get paid to afford the gas to get there. Hence 3/4 and 1 ton trucks can get 10mpg and are still bought.

Have to agree with most of what you said. That previous edge sport was a straight up ‘hot wheels car’! Just needed a factory flame decal 🙄However, I do prefer the current generation edge sport over the explorer. In my opinion it stands out with no real copy cat like the ‘’ xlt sport appearance package’’ sure there is

All the ‘’high(higher?) performance’’ variants are still dedicated to the special vehicle team. Including, but not limited to, the raptor(s), focus rs and Shelby gt350/500.

what happened with the Focus ST?

yeah, a fully loaded lariat Ranger. If you happened to ever find a base lariat F-150 (500a) I’d be fairly surprised. They are around but takes quite a bit of digging. they are more like something Enterprise would buy to rent. Even with the 2.7L as standard equipment and nothing extra, still looking at 50,120 MSRP.

or lease it. cost you less than two cars especially with renting a truck

10 speed though. only 6 speed automatic in the explorer currently

There are rumors of Focus-based compact unibody pickup apparently the “Courier” nameplate was filed US patent/trademark office. Would be fairly interesting. Almost in the realm of a Subaru Baja:

agreed with your previous posts. Wagons are dying and are not as practical as a crossover. (2018 is last year for FLEX) The added height is easier to throw the kids into their car seat without bending down or lifting up (like a truck) The edge(MKX) is the perfect size for 1 or 2 kids. with 1 kid in the back-passenger
