I've always thought the idea of "skippable episodes" was dumb as hell. It's reducing a work to some idiot's idea of its essence when it really encompasses all of it. Watch the show if you enjoy it, don't try to find a distilled version.

I honestly don't understand why people like him. Is it how constantly mopey he was for the first three seasons? Is it the way he instantly fell in love with the first girl to give him the time of day? Is it the "fat guy that bumbles his way into winning fights!" trope a la Patton Oswalt on Justified? I hate that…

I hope he pratfalls right over the edge of that mile-high wall and is never seen again. How a character can alternate that hard between being irritating and boring is shocking to me.

Samwell Tarly is the worst goddamn character on this show. I don't give a fuck about his relationship with Gilly, I'm tired of his bumbling attempts at fight scenes, I just want him to go away.
