One Million Moms would be a perfect name for our lesbian feminist knitting circle. (I assume those of us who started out straight or bi turned lesbian after watching that commercial.)
Fucking thank you. Seriously, enough with this bullshit of “We have to vote for whoever is most popular and moderate enough”. Are Republicans moderate? Do they even once try to appeal to centric voters or do they keep ratcheting up their rage, hate speech and party base? Do they not give in to wealthy Americans at…
If Clinton is elected it is just more of the same, business as usual, Wall Street running the White House. We need a political revolution - we need to get big money out of politics, do something about the obscene income inequality in this country and finally have someone in a position of power willing to work towards…
This is such a stupid argument... Individual votes don’t matter ya’ll, get behind the masses. But if the little peons who differ from the majority dissent, there is no way to win?
No! It’s June 2015 I have absolutely NO reason to “just get behind Hillary.” If she wants my vote she’s going to have to fucking earn it assuming she’s still in the primaries when my state votes. I’m funny that way I insist on being able to cast my vote and I will not have the DNC tell me who I will cast my vote for.
No. Definitely not going willingly. And quit being a defeatist. You’re the enemy within.
Don’t tell me who to support or how to vote. Hilary has some views I find problematic. I’ll vote for her over some Republican asshole anyday, but until she’s officially on the ballot, I’m Bernie Sanders all the way.
If everyone who thinks like you do votes for Bernie in the primary, he could win the nomination. And eventually the presidency. Just like that longshot, unknown senator back in 08 who beat Hillary...
Enough with this! This is why actual Democrats are moving so far to the right. There are few if any besides Bernie Sanders who are actual liberals anymore and it is thinking such as yours. “Can’t get elected if they reveal their true beliefs so they cow tow to the right and vote more along those lines”. No! We need to…
If she gets the nod, I will, but until then I’m going to use my voting rights the way I want to in an attempt to give someone who I think would be an excellent president a chance to run. If we just vote for the person who “is going to win”, then no one else who we might like better and who actually might be better is…
That’s not the best way to do it, imho. Sanders doing well forces Hillary to move to the left and forces conversations and debates that wouldn’t happen otherwise. Vote for who is closest to your beliefs in the primary. It won’t hurt Hillary to have some competition- it will probably help her as the dems are unlikely…
My conscience won’t let me do it. Sure. I’ll vote for her in the general, if it comes down to it, but for the duration of the primary season, I’m a Sanders person all the way. He and Warren are the only two people that I trust in politics.
He might not get the nomination but the hope is that he will get enough support in the primaries to drive Clinton to the left. Given the insanity of the Republican presidential primaries, having a left-wing pull on the Democratic side is a good thing. It may help to balance the discussion.
No.
And I mean, if you want to get away from electing rich old white people, Clinton isn’t your best option, either.
I don’t know much about his stance on gun control, but I just googled a bit and saw that the NRA rated him an “F,” so he can’t be that anti-gun control.
All 700 of the Duggars (or however many there are) and the rest of their kooky cult prayed and prayed to God for a worthy distraction from all the news about Josh’s molestation charges/not charges and child abuse. And God saw Michelle’s empty, vapid stare and smiled.
Dolezal was first asked if she had ever straight-up lied to someone about her race. She replied, “No, because never have I been asked, ‘are you human or are you not human?’ Race as a construct has a fluid understanding. So I would say no.”
Let’s not forget that gay people should be legally prevented from getting married because it is such a sacred institution.
