Definitely a bit wonky - lots of moving parts. Surprisingly thought, video quality not as bad as one would think. Even connected to HD TV!

Hey, don't knock Laserdiscs! As noted below, Criterion took full advantage of the format and produced some great sets with extras. Many of which are still sought after.

Don't mess with CED! I have one and it's awesome.
