Much like The Beach Boys or many other bands, they have completely replaced the band's whole lineup aside from one guy. Same lead vocalist. Everyone else replaced.

Barenaked Ladies is in a similar category. If different songs of theirs had broken out, they could just as easily be seen as country artists or Baroque Pop pioneers.
He did turn down the position.
I want to see Don Karnage pop up as an animal who walks on four legs in a Jungle Book spinoff.
It isn't that there's no Scrooge or that Darkwing's Launchpad never worked for Scrooge. Darkwing's universe has a Flintheart Glomgold and a Gizmoduck who doubles as Scrooge's accountant even. It's just that Darkwing's universe isn't beholden to continuity anymore than DuckTales was beholden to Carl Barks comics about…
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.
Joel's pretty young. We try not to sexualize him.
He borrowed the Joker's!
Adam West has said he'd be up for one more movie after this if the response is good.
I'm part of this, so why not a shameless self-plug? My book, Ungrounded, hasn't won any Eisners. But we did have four successful Kickstarters. My principal artist Eryck Webb and I had the chance to jam with creators like Art Thibert, Dennis Culver, Tom Peyer, and Brian Augustyn on my boutique book about a super-hero,…
It makes it feel like an old Goofy cartoon.
Sidebar about Idiocracy: Was the narration planned or was it added after the fact to string together improvised elements, reshoots, or a script that wasn't working? I always had this feeling like maybe there was another movie in there that fell apart in the editing room.
He had some. I think I just bought more into the Bruce Timm/Mark Hamill model. To me, the Joker is a clean cut perfectionist. He does white (or at least lavender) glove inspections. I also felt the Arkham games made him too overtly horrific. If there's one guy who would take a shower in the middle of a jail break, get…
I don't buy the Joker as an anarchist. Comedy is all about structure. I grew up on reprints where he had a staff of comedy writers and engaged in meticulous planning while Batman was all improv. I gotta give that one to Hamill. In my mind, the Joker will always be an old timey Sid Caesar kind of guy. Parade floats?…
He'll always be Krypto to me.
I don't know. Kung Pow! Enter the Fist was pretty entertaining. So was Zombieland. For any movie I'd never want to see more than once, I kinda wish they'd throw Syd Field's structure out the window and just spend maybe $70 million realizing about 90 minutes of free associated memes.
Couldn't you equally argue that the mistake was having anything in that movie not sourced by the Internet?
Kilmer is the only Batman, for my money. Clooney was Clooney. West was West. Keaton was Keaton. Ben Affleck was Zack Snyder's id and Bale was the lovechild of Hamlet and George W. Bush, points to both for complex portrayals. Kilmer was Batman.
Maybe somebody is a bigger fan of the franchise than the film. It does change the franchise even if the film remains untouched.
I think Caleb was hastily introduced both to add personality and give Nathan Fillion work.
