I have thought for years that DC should remake The Clan Of The Fiery Cross as an animated movie, but in spite of my yelling at the Internet, it still hasn't happened.

Murdoc is more real to me than something like 70% of people who have ever been interviewed on the AV Club.

That, I'd accept.

Supposedly though, if the backstory was real, Rick would not have been able to include the mathematical equations that turned out to be the virus that let him control the brain machine. It isn't just his claim that it is fake, it is also backed up by the technobabble of the episode.

When the kryptonite is ineffective against "Supergirl" J'onn immediately reveals himself. Surely it would be more useful/fun for him to just continue posing as Supergirl, fighting the Daxamite's and saying "Gee, I don't know why the kryptonite doesn't work. Maybe I'm immune now." But no. J'onn just lazily turns back

"Henny Youngman is an old man, but Gary Oldman is a young man." Norm Macdonald

It isn't as though Kara doesn't have some male villains to balance things out. A handful anyway… But yeah, it would probably be disproportionate.

I would have been happier if they'd just Roger Rabbited in a cartoon Mxy with Gottfried's voice.

Here is a list of villains who traditionally oppose Superman but who have first appeared in this show's universe as Kara's opponents: Mxyzptlk, Bizarro, Livewire, Metallo, Parasite, Cyborg Superman, Silver Banshee, and Non. Toyman was never said to have fought Superman, but also never said not to have, he very well

I am only a couple minutes into the episode, but I appreciate Mxy calling Mon-El "McGurk".

I will be honest: I have wondered about George and Oscar's upbringing.

I like to think I'd try to dig up some obscure Supergirl villains to bring them to prominence and allow Supergirl to have her own foes instead of having the writers mooch off the rest of the DCU. I could see Raspar or Dr. Supernatural or someone being worth a go.

Ross in Civil War didn't feel much like comics Ross though, did he?

A greater variety among the aliens on Star Trek would be welcomed by me, certainly.

I'll be honest, watching the episode, I was really hoping there was going to be an explanation that finally made me understand it.

"And on this planet, we have a sentient fungus species."

Technically, if the movie stays true to the comics, Ramonda is T'Chaka's second wife after T'Challa's mother died in childbirth. That makes their ages less of an issue.

My desire now is to get a scene where Ash is wearing the Ashy Slashy puppet who is, in turn, wearing another puppet, who has another puppet, all the way to infinity.

Maybe the next Ant-Man can have a scene where the crowd is staring down at the tiny spectacle going on in the grass.

Yeah, I liked the Gerber book from the 90s, but I haven't much faith this will recreate what I liked there.
