I had the exact same thought. For a second I thought when another character (the Doctor) finally addressed her directly, she was just doing it to humour Ryan. But then Bella started producing bombs, so much for that theory. But it kept me more entertained than the episode itself did for the most part.

Quite possible that his publicist was standing open-mouthed aghast as he said this stuff. Aside from dragging him out of the interview, what else could they do?

At no point in that article did I see anything from Gates saying he would vote for Trump. Even in coded, neutral language.

Nora came across as one of the more level-headed characters, it wouldn’t for for her to have made something so extreme up, and we are clearly shown that there are people who THINK they have a process for transporting, and that process will kill you if it doesn’t work.
