I think you are reading this as she would be “bounced” into a situation by surprise. “Hey honey, I know you think this was going to be a nice weekend away for the two of us, but guess who is going to be waiting in the room when we walk through the door?

This is not how expected Watchmen to pan out in the real world.

I had the exact same thought. For a second I thought when another character (the Doctor) finally addressed her directly, she was just doing it to humour Ryan. But then Bella started producing bombs, so much for that theory. But it kept me more entertained than the episode itself did for the most part.

Quite possible that his publicist was standing open-mouthed aghast as he said this stuff. Aside from dragging him out of the interview, what else could they do?

“Instead, it sounds like he did it by barley paying attention at all”

It would make more sense if a) he’s just trying to be nice to someone who’s family are still knocking around somewhere, or b) if his own daughter was kidnapped for stormtrooping, he and Janna will need to retrace her steps through the First Order recruitment process, which might also reveal where his own daughter

“really the only time a b-wing ever did anything was in these games. you don’t see them in action in ROTJ at all.”

Also quite a few youtube self-repair vids have things in like “The cause of the problem might be this, which is repaired like so. If it isn’t this, it is probably something more involved and you need to get a professional to look at it.

The Guardian was probably dumping on Corbyn because he is (privately and generally) in favour of leaving the EU; that some of his most vocal support in the party is unpleasant and almost thuggish; and they also determined (correctly) that he is unelectable.

Urgh, none of that is in the film. I assumed Sifo-Dyas was either Palpatine or Dooku pretending to be a Jedi, and the water geneticists couldn’t tell the difference or didn’t really care (“Hey, money! Sure, we’ll keep project a secret!”).

“The real problem with the Dagobah scene is that the stakes are so high elsewhere. The rest of the rebellion is literally on the run and are seemingly hours away from destruction, everything is on the line, so every moment that’s spent horsing around on the swamp planet feels like a risk the heroes can’t afford to

It’s not like they’re the first SW characters to fuck up so monumentally. Han and Leia et al shouldn’t have gone to Cloud City and Luke shouldn’t have abandoned his training to go to their aid.”

No, he wasn’t bad, contrary to the legend that he was terrible at it. Not masterpieces, but if a relative did them you’d find wallspace for them. Shame he didn’t stick to that and instead... well, you know.

Yeah, and a 3-day lag to respawn is bollocks.

The allowance from his mommy, maybe. But the one from the British tax payer will be cut if he’s no longer a working royal.

Could be a restaurant she (or she and husband) know very well.

“There’s absolutely no way that this article is what spoiled Baby Yoda for you. Baby Yoda is everywhere.”

It was a spoiler in the UK, as we can’t legitimately start watching this show for several months. Thanks Obama Disney AV Club!

At no point in that article did I see anything from Gates saying he would vote for Trump. Even in coded, neutral language.

Nora came across as one of the more level-headed characters, it wouldn’t for for her to have made something so extreme up, and we are clearly shown that there are people who THINK they have a process for transporting, and that process will kill you if it doesn’t work.
