True, corporate citizens can espouse whatever they want. But Facebook presented its “trending stories” list as somehow impartial. Apparently they were curating it *without telling anyone*. To me, they were being dishonest. It’s not a violation of journalistic ethics (as you correctly point out), but it IS douchbaggery
