i dont see Metro going anywhere. It's the best music venue in the city.

Having seen about 170 shows the last 3 years. I have been to pretty much every concert hall, club, and theatre in Chicago several times over the last few years. Metro is without a doubt my absolute favorite.

2 seasons were ordered at the time of the initial pickup

Happy Endings was doing just fine after Modern Family.

Sounds like one WHALE of a problem.

It's part of the James Cameron franchise, which has many fans.

and thats when your life went from good to GREAT!

is the floor open for questions? wait, let me rephrase that…

almost perfect, but any future Hulk solo film will be distributed by Universal and not Disney, which is the predominant reason why there hasnt been one since the Edward Norton one.

Inside Out won last weekend homie. So Jurassic World has now lost back-to-back weekends for the first time in its history.

except that I enjoyed reading it. that matters more than anything else to me.

It'd be great of they could have a Daily Show Election to see who the next host will be and run it concurrently with the 2016 election, so that we can still have Jon for the next election cycle

yeah either that or, you know, maybe the Director's Guild of America just thought American Sniper had better direction than Selma, not because they were being overtly sexist..There's always that.

this is the AV Club comment section, isnt it? I'm pretty sure i'm allowed to be as willfully ignorant as you.

So let me get this straight: last year if you didn't vote for 12 Years A Slave for best picture (which it wasnt, but not the point here) you were racist, and now if you dont vote for Selma for best direction (which it clearly wasn't if you've seen Birdman, Whiplash, or GPH) you are sexist, and possibly racist too?

god this was such a mind-fuck of a movie. and fucking weird. but really good.

yeah also he straight up causes a guy to get murdered right at the end of the climax

the critic hating him, the rebellious and neglected daughter, the ex wife, etc. those were all there on purpose. it was supposed to be cliche.

no its definitely not that…

So Birdman only got on ONE ballot at a measly #15? did nobody watch it? or was it too commercial of an indie movie to deserve recognition?
