@doubledmateo: It wasn't just you. I got really bored with the combat about halfway through the game and if not for the great atmosphere, I probably would have quit. It's something about having to constantly dispatch no more than a handful of enemy types the same way every time. The weapon variety helped a little…

@thecast: Yeah, that's why I had that "from sources I respect" in parentheses. I've never seen a Destructoid review I agreed with and the guy's reasoning behind giving it such a low score seemed sketchy.

@Nawara_Ven: That's what I was wondering when I read that. The lowest score I've seen (from sources whose opinions I respect :P) has been an 8.5.

For whatever reason, I was thinking it was going to be Mario. Now I realize that would have made no sense and Nintendo would likely not have allowed it, lol.

@bakana: I thought the first film, from a purely visual standpoint, was pretty great. A ridiculous story won't have any impact on the 3D.

Awesome. I own Silent Hill 3 but have never been able to bring myself to play it long enough to beat it. This solves that problem.

@DocSeuss: It wasn't just the mosque near ground zero. There were tons of mosque protests going on all over the country, most notably in Tennessee. I fail to see the connection between a Tennessee mosque and 9/11.
