@pandafresh: Other M looks pretty amazing. And AC: Brotherhood seems intriguing, though I wish I could have seen some gameplay footage.

I started on Ysera too! Pretty good server.
@Zhris: Yes, once Microsoft's contract with Netflix runs out then you will be able to stream on the PS3 without a disc. I assume that will apply to the Wii as well.
@okenny :) ...building bridges (to hide under): But it's not just the "even more" they are getting if they buy it now instead of later. They're also getting to play their PS3 NOW instead of waiting months for the new models. Worth it! :D
@Grievlocke: It's a stellar game and the multiplayer (in my opinion) will keep you entertained for much longer than War for Cybertron's will.
@ElephantFace: Man, you just ruined some of the best stories and characters in gaming for yourself by playing 4 first. :(
@infi: It's not just the backwards compatibility they also removed a bunch of hardware ports in later models. That doesn't necessarily make a huge difference but with the current models it's hard to charge your controllers and headset while having a keyboard and/or mouse plugged in. Also, if you don't have a stream…
@eviljohnny13: I was making an analogy to illustrate that while saying games aren't art isn't necessarily an insult, people can still find it offensive.
I think this story was just an excuse for Brian to post a picture of his super adorable kid. ;)
Some of these don't really look like the characters at all. They just have their heads positioned similarly, lol.
@EmeraldStorm: The only place where I can see the Move being cool is navigating ARI.
@eviljohnny13: It may not be a direct insult but it's still a discriminating statement and people still have every right to feel insulted.
@EmeraldStorm: Man, that ending sequence in Braid was just incredible. The first time I played through it I was as happy as I've ever been finishing a game.
@karoc: I think he mentioned Uncharted 2 because it's as close to a movie as any video game has been. So maybe Ebert's movie-centric mind would appreciate it more than other games.
@slim934: "That country would not exist as it does to day had it not been forcibly cut up in the manner it was by its colonial master (lookin at you here Belgium) which forcibly brought together a bunch of not necessarily friendly tribal groups, thus intentionally instigating inherent domestic conflict."
Reading things like this makes me feel guilty about how naive I am about the purchases I make. Most of us in America are consumers first and humanitarians later. It doesn't even occur to me to think about where the things I buy come from most of the time, especially not electronics.
Sony isn't talking about any PS1 remakes which is what a lot of people seem to be asking for.
Gran Turismo? Why would that even be in consideration for a remake?
@xbeaux: I was thinking the same thing. That was the game I got the most excited about out of everything in Nintendo's conference.
I believe in the freedom to choose my own doctor...and the freedom to accost anyone who doesn't share my political beliefs and threaten them with death! Ooah!
