@SkinJeremy: I actually heard a Sony representative mention on a podcast that they are fully aware that this occurs and are fine with it.

@Ethos: Eh, I liked the story in 2 much better. The story in 1 was fun but like ahmoudy said, the villains didn't stand out as characters like they do in 2 and the pacing of 2 is so much better.
@Mikekearn has an overly long username: If you had a decent gaming PC, I would think that you would have gone with a PS3 instead of the 360 since you can play most 360 exclusives on the PC. That's why I've been thinking about upgrading my PC lately (I have a PS3) instead of buying another console just to play a…
@Snow leopard: New Wii games are $50 which is still more than $30 but yeah...
That's why you shouldn't let people identify themselves as "gamers." Anyone who hasn't heard of the Move or Natal is NOT a gamer. ;)
@Superspecs: Maybe toward the end but they had some 50s stuff in 2 also. In particular the Chicago level stands out in my mind and the radio broadcast throughout the game was a nice touch.
I also, severely detest retailer specific bonuses. So much so that I make it a point NOT to preorder games offering such things and by boycotting Gamestop since they are the worst about it and continuously run awful commercials anytime they get exclusive DLC.
@LuppyLuptonium: As in Johnny Cage vs. Johnny Cage?
@YoungZer0: I say leave 3D for the more "technical" fighters out there like Virtua Fighter, Tekken, and Soul Calibur. There is plenty of room for 2D fighters based around loads of special moves and fast paced craziness i.e. Smash Bros., MK, Street Fighter, Blazblu, Some dudes vs. Capcom.
The new Resident Evil Degeneration was pretty good in the sense that it was fun to watch, captured the look and tone of the games, and played out very much like one of the games would complete with giant bosses and all. Unfortunately, this chart seems to indicate that direct to DVD game movies are automatically crap.
@Zunnoab: Then you probably wouldn't appreciate AC: Complete. It just adds more action scenes (albeit pretty bad ass action scenes) and makes them prettier with the Blu-Ray without enhancing the story telling much.
@Nipah: But Spider-Man 2 was awesome, as was X2 but not X3. And awful CG integration aside, you could make a case that Blade 2 was better than Blade 1 but Blade Trinity would consistently be voted the worst iPod commercial ever made.
@wahrugene: Visually, Silent Hill was spot on even down to some of the camera angles. As far as everything else...below average, I would say.
ZOMG, Demon's Souls and LittleBig Planet have more fresh ideas and enjoyable gameplay than Halo 1, 2, 3, and ODST COMBINED....World of Warcraft.
What's so incredibly scary is that there is almost no defense for someone who just suddenly goes crazy and rampages. Larger scale, terrorist level attacks harm way more people but at least there is a chance of stopping them or of something going wrong during planning or during the execution. But if some guy just…
Pleeeeeeeease let the E3 surprise be that they are also developing it for the PS3...or at least making a serviceable port.
If Hulu starts charging a fee for their service, they will see a huge drop off in traffic.
@BreadKnight: Agreed.
I'm casting my vote for movie trailer...but why do people keep insisting on killing Johnny Cage?! In retrospect I realize he's kind of a silly character but he was still my second favorite from when I was a kid (first being Scorpion, naturally). I'd like to see him hanging around.
