She is a bad actress. In everything I saw with her including the Hunger Games movies (why did I watch that?). She is really bad.

At least she stopped doing movies with David O. Russel I guess she could not stand his prickness anymore. All of the roles were way to old for her she looked liked a little girl playing dress up in her mother’s clothes in his films.

I’ve always found her acting “tinny” I don’t even know if that’s the right word, but when I watch her my head just has one word bouncing around “tinny”.

I liked her in Winter’s Bone and that one episode of Medium she was in, but in nothing else since. She’s just the same in everything, and it doesn’t help that she’s so often paired with the even more bland Bradley Cooper. Who is the human equivalent of beige.

I’ve been a bit weary of her acting crazy or eccentric since American Hustle. I haven’t seen anything non-franchise with her since, but that’s has a lot to do with her films not exhibiting much appeal to me in general.
