Oven roasted asparagus with cajun seasoning is my jam. And I used to hate asparagus.

Yeah. For some reason, people associate broccoli to green mush. Because apparently they think the only way to cook it is steaming it. Which sucks. I usually go the sauteeing way with a lot of veggies and they taste pretty amazing.

You can put more than a tiny pinch of salt on your food. Food should be seasoned properly

Oven roasting / sauteeing most veggies in a little olive oil, dash (very small dash) of salt, as much fresh pepper as your heart desires, and garlic is a great way to turn vegetables you otherwise might think taste like shit into something edible (and really tasty, actually).

I’ve tried to do this, but usually end up getting derailed by extremely liberal interpretations of the number 5.

A Guinness or a Tree House Julius (the top-rated IPA in the U.S.) will run you 200 or more calories a can.

Before you ever start drinking, make sure you know exactly how many you’re going to have

While in college I drank too much one night, and had to wake up early the next morning to finish a paper for a class, causing me to miss another class that had a huge random quiz that day. When I went back to the other class and found out what I'd missed, I manned up and told the professor I hadn't been able to take
