I have taken it off an on, usually just before and during my period. I think it helps me with general PMS symptoms and cramping pains. Vitamin D also seems to help me with these things, and I also took Vitamin E in my 20s when I had more problems with fibrocystic type breast pain and I think it helped. Evening…
When I was in my 20’s and not on the pill, evening primrose oil was the BOMB for sore breasts. I don’t get sore breasts any more, but have recently started taking it for thyroid-related dry hair and skin.
I’ve used it, I didn’t find it made a huge difference for me. Didn’t hurt though
I tried it briefly a few years ago and didn't notice any improvement in any of my symptoms. I just want to add though that it's worth reading up about drug interactions as it interferes with certain things (or so my GP warned). Can't remember specifics, possibly some oral contraceptives...

Vitamin D supplementation cut mine like in half. Though I got my levels checked and apparently I was outrageously low in it so, I guess that's a thing. Anyway I take like 10,000 IU a day now.
This is a shot in the dark, but do you have an IUD, by any chance? I had terrible, terrible PMS breast pain that magically disappeared after getting my Paragard out. Wasn’t expecting that result at all, since no medical professional drew a connection between the two, and it was a great relief.
