Yeah, here servers earn at least minimum wage here , often more, and our minimum wage is not ridiculously low. Nothing to write home about, like in the RICH European countries, but perfectly livable. The way servers are paid in America is downright imoral.

Before reading BCO, I had no idea how tips worked in America. So yeah, I would be a Euro idiot had I been to America. But if you're aware and still give a miserable tip, that's inexcusable.

First Missy Eliott, then Beck, what the what? Am I really that old or do people seriously think music started with Beyonce going solo? Or that she's the only worthy artist there is? Start listening to other (older) stuff, people, you might be surprised to see there are tallented people in other generations and

Irish I think. A bit unusual, but not really weird.

Yeah, that irks me too, Leonard wrote it and it's still my favourite version, he should get all the credit for it.

Hummmmmmmmmmmm Côte d'or... so wonderful

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and yeah, hard to NOT know. And really, because I'm tall and overweight to start with, I was barely showing for most of my pregnancy. I joke to my husband we could have faked an episode if we wanted because no one could tell there was a baby in there. Plus I had zero nausea, no cravings... but

They do, yes, because it's risky, not to mention painful for the mother. I'm guessing her recovery is going to be a nightmare. My sister had a 4 kg baby and was sitting in a rubber doughnut for over a month.

Cabidela, which basically is chicken with rice, but with the chicken's blood (thinned with vinegar ) thrown in. It's a risotto-like consistence, made thick by the blood. And it's dark brown. It doesn't actually taste bad, but I couldn't bring myself to eat more than one ortwo forkfuls. Pig's blood, however, I'm your

But it'sdelicious, right? At least I love it.

The path to body acceptance is not an easy one. I've been chubby, slim, obese, overweight and everything in between until I setteled in my size 20, five foot ten self. The common thread is how fat I felt, how inadequate I felt all those years. My first two decades of life were miserable and steeped in depression, not

His music still sucks, though.

Oh god no. Seriously, just no.

Well, given the choice, I would certainly text Nicholas Hoult instead of Chris Martin. Because Coldplay annoys the hell of my blackened grunge heart and Chris Martin just seems insufferable to me.

I don't like spicy food and try to avoid it as much as possible. Even my husband, which used to be a spicy afficionado is using less and less hot sauce because he knows we are going to share and, therefore, doesn't want me to tear up or gag as we eat, say, wings. And yes, there are too many unecessarily hot food

Anti-vaxxers aren't really common in my country, partly because your child must have all vaccines to be enroled in any public school (and I'm not sure but I think private schools also require them) and partly because it's such an upper-class hippie thing. The only anti-vaxxer I know is a good friend of mine, whose

From what I've read/ seen, Charles is very political and he longs to be more interventive than his mother, who has always been neutral. There's no way he will give the throne up. The potential for that going horribly wrong is huge, not less because his political leanings are to the fas right, from what I've gathered.

I fail at the whole adulthood thing. My nails are kept as short as possible, because I am an idiot and can't seem to be able to /be bothered to keep them long and decent. And I'm too poor (middle school teacher) to get them done on a regular basis. The kicker is that I loooooooooooove nail polish and am forever buying

As a foreigner used to (almost) free college degrees, that just reads classist disconnect. Are these people even aware how some families struggle to pay the bills and will never be able to save to send their children to school, no matter how mugh they would like/deserve to go? Or how a lot of people has to work

We're all special snowflakes like that. I'm not eighty, but I really enjoy my food as hot as possible. Lukewarm food makes me gag, I don't know why. It's just a prefference like loving or hating tomatoes. I'm not, however, rude to my servers, because I realise the food takes some time to come from the kitchen to the
