You know how plus size tops are: designed to hide bellies, all loose and flowy. As a fat chick I have no shortage of those. Maternity jeans for my size are scarce and hugely expensive (niche market) so when the jeans no longer fit I'm banking on some nice, soft leggings and I'm set. Who knew there were some benefits

I've lost about 8 kg (16 pounds maybe?I'm rubbish at conversions) so what I lost in butt and hips compensates the big belly, the jeans are actually looser around the back. I figure I'll buy some leggings when the belly gets to big and I'm set to go, because the tops still all fit.

Oh yeah, heading into 22 weeks and my jeans still all fit. And because I'm on this strict diet (doctor prescribed, not crazy diet) I've actually lost some weight. I'm not buying pregnancy clothes at all.

Ok, here's how it goes: I've been on a super strict diet (my OBGYN prescribed it)ever since I found out I was pregnant. Being overweight I thought it was understandable and perfectly justifiable to watch what I eat carefully. Diabetes and pre-eclampsia are real dangers to me. It's hard but worth it. I couldn't care

Oh yeah, how she looks is what counts here. Go Malala.

Mine will be sushi, blue cheese and chocolate, the things I miss more while pregnant. And prosciutto, most certainly. As for plans... I just want a healthy baby, if I have to have a c-section that's not the end of the world.

Well, her singing reminded me an aging Marlene Dietrich or even Lola-Lola hamming her way through Falling in love again in Blue Angel. Which is a very good thing

No, but I'll try it, I'm always up for trying new authors (new to me, that is). What about Anne Perry, Steven Saylor, Elizabeth Peters, Dennis Lehane? Those are my current favourite. And Dame Agatha, of course.

Sexy MF and Get off are my go-to, so fun and funky

Five Red Herrings, by Dorothy L. Sayers, because I love crime stories, especially golden age ones.

It's so rare for me to get an oportunity to fangirl about Bette Davis , thanks for that it was magnificent. And she was quite the dame (in the best way possible, of course)

Well, here in Portugal you can just opt for the wedding itself. Therefore you have the usual readings and vows but not the whole mass. My sis got married in a cathedral and the priest had like five wedings back to back that day so he had the incentive to keep it short and sweet. She even had the oportunity to choose

It's only long if you ask the ceremony to be incorporated in the service and ad choir solos and stuff like that. Also if you have a boring priest who likes to listen to the sound of his own voice. My sister's weding took twenty minutes flat without the frills. I on the other hand was done in ten, because the civil

Mediterranean diet here, so not only somewhat spicy but with a lot of fish (bones, heads, no filets ever), legumes and vegetables. When I was growing up the child (2-3 year olds and up) usually ate what the rest of the family did. No exceptions. We were taught the hard parts, like avoiding bones, but were expected to

Love everything about this except the fabric, it's vaguely bedspread-y.

Because I'm also tall (1,78 m) I usually go for solid/ streamlined. I invested in a few basics, like a dark wash pair of jeans, straight leg trousers in neutrals (black, grey, navy) and one or two pencil skirts and buy tops that are more colourful/patterned. With something neutral as a base it's less probable things

A year and three months. We were already considering fertility treatments but it happened quite unexpectedly. I'm due in February :D

Sweet and sour chicken wings made from scratch, even thouh I'm not supposed to eat sugar (put honey in there). And to balance it a yummy butternut squash and spinach soup.

You know, you really should take your own screen name to heart. Excuse me if I bored you or offended you with my actual experience as a client of this brand. I just thought you would like to know what they actually offer but nevermind, I'll just reduce myself to my own insignificance.

Their website has the most amazing tops and winter coats, great to pair with some jeans or trousers. They also had this fifties inspired dresses (one of them reminded me of the dress worn in All about Eve by my divine Bette Davis) that are the bomb. And not too expensive either.
