JackBox 3 only requires one person on the Switch and the rest use a cellphone, right? I'm looking for some good party games and it sounded like a dead-ringer, but not if I have to buy more JoyCons.

Seriously consider getting BotW at some point. It is about as difficult as the other modern Zelda's and unlike those games with their narrow corridors and gated fights, you can literally run away from a fight if you want. It also has some of the most fun puzzles in the series.
Agreed on the controllers. Monster Hunter games on the 3DS gave me cramps like no other (except for Kid Icarus, but that was designed by a man who has a vendetta against ergonomicists). I haven't used the Switch controllers at any length yet (I love handheld mode too much), but I found them surprisingly comfortable on…
I've been all over the place this week. Grabbed Disgaea 5 and Zelda BotW for my brand-spanking new Switch. I've only used it in handheld mode so far, but it is a pretty sweet little system. Went ahead and bought Blaster Master Zero and it is an astounding remake (of a game I've never heard of). Totally worth $10 for…
Totally misread "fishin' buddy" as…something else. But hey, whatever floats their uh… fishin' boat.
That's where I quit too originally. This time I Quickening-chained his ass into the shiny metal floor of his precious dreadnought.
I wouldn't say "ripped off" because The Village was definitely it's own thing. The book was more concerned with how the character would navigate this new world while trying to beat the clock and save her village. The movie had many of the same beats (and you could make a legal case for it I imagine), but the twist was…
Yeah it was a bit rushed. I imagine there was some cajoling for him to get out and see the world as a man so he might be less inclined to murder the lot of them. Likely the church didn't take well to a woman who was gathering a following of people who didn't think to suffer as God intended.
I really hope they camp it up next "season" when he gets to the castle. Generic Man-Bats don't exactly scream Castlevania to me. And Death was an even bigger dick in the games than Dracula himself, so I hope he makes an appearance.
Her goal was to learn science from Dracula and use it to help others. She couldn't very well do that from the castle of a mythical monster, so I imagine that's why she left.
But James Caan gave her that beautiful pig statuette in the ending! And he really appreciated her scrap-booking skills. I thought it was a love for the ages.
Hmmmmm I totally forgot I have a perfectly fine SD card sitting in my old Android phone. I'm glad I always listen to my Doctuar's recommendations.
I was not expecting what I got from Flex Metallo and it was so, so much better than I expected it to be.
I've gotten into the "screen cover & case" at purchase mentality thanks to smart phones. One thing that pushed me to get it is a train trip to Chicago to meet my parents next month. I plan on using that as a litmus test for how portable of a system it really can be. I hope I'm not disappointed.
That's likely to be my next purchase. Amazon has some cheap options, but I'm balking at having to drop potentially another $100 for that and a game. Now I have to decide if I want Mario Kart or Splatoon first. I'll let the global testfire next week decide for me.
Got one! Glad I checked Kotaku this morning when I got up and saw the Kinja Deals page. Probably the only time I will ever thank something with the work "Kinja" in it.
I started looking in earnest this week and found them to be as scarce near me as they were on release. Thus did the cloud part and Amazon's shining radiance did fall upon me. The words "Prime" and "free two-day shipping" soothed my aching soul and $300 + accessories later, all was well.
Because I am a weak human with some ill-defined and some very specific urges, I bought a Switch from Amazon since they restocked this morning. I feel like it is making up for buying a WiiU years ago on the cheap and loving how much playtime I got out of it. Plus Mario Odyssey is only a few months away, so why not?…
Depends. Who has the scratch-n-sniff ones?
Is that why so many of them end up missing?
