The Cup Noodle advertising was so overt it was almost parody. A final boss battle where you win a Cup Noodle eating contest would've put it over the top.

I got so busy with Nioh I forgot to stop by and see the event. Was it magnificent?

So far the AV Club review has been the least enthusiastic, but I remain undeterred. It is likely across 40 hours the mechanics will be boring, but man the idea of fighting robot dinosaurs/prehistoric mammals sounds too exciting to pass up. Other outlets were more excited by the story (seriously, see the Engadget

I dunno it it applies here. Did the creators explicitly draw from a specific culture? The character models looks pretty multi-ethnic. Plus matriarchies and decorative facepainting and animal-wear have been seen across many cultures and times. I think it would be an issue if they just wholesale ripped off designs from

Ignis just needs to read a damn cookbook once in a while. Maybe a book with more than one reci-peh would be best.

Ya know, it is strange to have nine evil sons and still be considered good. You might start to question your parenting skills after the first three or so.

What happens when you click one little pop-up ad, right everyone?

Yeah it is usually a toss up for me if I sell my extra crap for gold or Amrita. I'm guessing most of the blacksmithing stuff isn't useful until you get a full suite of purple drops with killer skills. Everything else is just for gold/Amrita when you need it. Critics weren't kidding when they compared it to Diablo.

I thought it was almost a straight up homage. Singularity even had a little time-traveling glaive. It was a pretty good game that was immediately forgotten.

"Honey, what's all this under the couch? Are those skeletons?!"
"Oh that's just one of those dungeons. Some blonde kid with pointy-ears just ran in there. He said he'd be back later for all of our rupees and ceramics."

I just played the Black Waltz III fight a few days ago and was blown away by how effective that scene is. Also Black Waltz has got to be one of the coolest enemy names/designs in all the FF games.

This weekend I'll probably be bleeding out my eyes playing Nioh. I've gotta say I'm a loving it more than Dark Souls. The fast-paced combat is great when it goes smoothly and makes me feel like I'm dancing as a slice up some guys. The difficulty curve is certainly there, but I've found myself making satisfactory

Exactly. Most depressing of all to me is her only option seems to be making herself worthless to him. Tanking her career and not bringing in any money should've been enough to get her let go, but he'd rather attempt to wring as much money and suffering out of her as possible. That's a pretty big forking hint he's an

I will be petitioning the state of California to have this so-called "Dr. Luke's" medical license reviewed and revoked.

The Go! Team. I need their high-energy flow to keep me going at work this week.

Not sure how big mine is gonna be this year, but I've decided it is going towards a new couch. The 5-year-old bargain-bin couch is staring down it's final days of ass.

You guys need to watch a certain episode of Black Mirror for the mother of all wedding speeches. Conveniently, it is at the end of the episode so you won't even have to quit mid-viewing.

She's into Demi Lovato.

I still get a kick from referencing Mikey's Mom's "Satan, guide them" when my partner leaves the house.

I've been wary of Ruth's Chris, but dammit if that enticing smell wafting across the street as I wait for my bus doesn't do me in one of these days.
