While the narrative is sprawling, 20th Century Boys managed to keep it plodding along at a good pace and keep the mystery going. The story didn't really start to drag until the latter half of 21st Century Boys and the ending was a bit lackluster in my opinion. Still a stone-cold classic though.

What's not to love about a guy willing to forgo some hot genital-on-genital action so he can explain science to his students?

A complete collection is arriving on Blu-ray soon so I bet its to help drive up sales. About $90 on Amazon right now. You can get each season on blu-ray for about half that right now, so I'd go ahead and take the plunge if you can. Totally worth the ride.

Knowing the rules isn't such a bad idea, but hopefully you have a nice table with someone to keep the action going if the rules start bogging things down. Betrayal is a fun game, but some of those scenarios really suffer from lack of instruction. Best of luck to you!

The eternal struggle. I spent a not insignificant amount on board games before having the requisite friends. That part takes a little more time. If you have a comic or game shop nearby I'm almost 100% sure they have open table nights you can use to find a group.

Too much text is probably the ONLY problem with Okami. The combat is pretty great and varied. The story has the right adventurous tone that doesn't take itself too seriously. I think it still outshines all of the Zelda games released since.

It also taught us that if God was anything like us, we'd all be giant penises living on a penis planet.

And here I thought dancing in a lesbian bar was just a Jonathan Richman song.

Please finish IT so you can get to one of the most questionable and awkward scenes King has ever written. Then go read some of his short stories if you haven't already to avoid completely writing him off.

The character designs get more out there in Vol 2 and the story changes it up and bit by jumping to other characters.

Oh god I thought that was something my boyfriend made up. He'll be glad to know that the AV Club commmenterati has validated this.

Ryan Murphy doesn't know much, but he does know dewy man-ass.

Ugh the next OoT dungeon was my juvenile kryptonite. So much picking up and throwing of an annoying character.

That's it! You people have stood in my way long enough! I'm going to Japanese pop idol college!

Je suis ton petit ami maintenant , Nancy

I tried out Furi the other day and man am I bad at parrying. I couldn't even get past boss 1. He was so damn smug that losing actually hurt!

Tried out Furi on the PS4. Tough and stylish. Ran out of lives on the first boss, so I'll probably come back to it later. Filling in my time until No Man's Sky with MHG.

What games are you gonna try on your new rig first? Those sweet, sweet first moments of dazzling, crisp vistas is second-to-none. Then your computer crashes because you forgot to install the latest drivers.

I just finished up the first season of Star v FoE and it was stupendously wonderful. For some reason, about half the SU episodes so far I haven't enjoyed as much as the prior bombs. I think real life fatigue has made it harder to watch compared to lighter fare.

Kyle Craft. Dude has some serious chops.
