More and more FFXIV. Finally managed to level my summoner to the point where I can continue the story and man, people aren't kidding when they say it's one of the better FF series in the franchise. To further kill any of my productivity, I decided to start leveling my miner and botanist as well.

Still chugging away at the endless grind in FFXIV. Just reached level 50 with my Summoner, which opens up a ton of variety for me to try and reach 60. Maybe this time I'll actually get around to beating those Extreme Primal trials if I can find a party or Free Company to join. I'm guessing this will last until No

Not much. Grinding away at FFXIV: Level 60-sward some the last week, but taking a break from games for the long weekend in NYC visiting my brother. Hasn't stopped me from spending way too much time reading about the FFXIV meta-game and skill rotations. I don't think MMO's are healthy for me.

Well if you are powerful enough it is probably easier to kill those golden, winged fat guys on the tower. My puny magic knight had to rely on magic to get them to kill each other and backstab the survivor.

At least not until his magnum opus "Moon Crash BLAMMO". Conveniently also his last film, as he sadly passed away attempting to push the Moon into the Earth.

This is honestly one of the most wonderful things I've read all week, coming from a family that shares none of my passion for games.

I mean it already has ZIM's voice actor as the lead, so it has pedigree!

Near the end of the Archives you open up a shortcut to a marvelous Soul farming opportunity if you have the enemy-charming Pyromancy.

The console-only sequel dumps all the old-world goodness that made the first game so fun in favor of a weird urban Gothic style. And you spend half the game hiding from monsters, when you are friggin' Dracula! The 3DS-original sequel was a fun experiment in returning LotS to the side-scrolling roots, but just ended up

Hmmmm no pink robots, but totally fine playing as a teen/20-something, female Korean StarCraft champion? Can't argue on the bullet-magnet point though. Side question: Do the D.Va skins change her body suit as well?

Stress and an un-holy Android/Xenomorph alliance have kept me from finishing it off. If it's not the androids choking me to death, its that damned Alien eating my face off.

Yeah I feel the same way. FFXIV at least has some very nice visuals and a complex, sometimes fun, story to break up the tedious parts. There is some kind of Skinner Box thing going on, because I can't really explain why I get a thrill from playing it. I typically burn out after a few weeks and then move on. But I

Yeah, that's why I'm ok with my system of waiting for content to build before jumping in. That way I feel like I'm always working towards something and I'm nowhere near dedicated enough to tackle endgame content when it's new. Lacking anyone to play with for now, I just stick with enjoying the story and trying out

I imagine your kid builds a miniature grave to your honor when he/she slays you.

Grinding, item and stat growth, and RPG-nonsense words are all sweet nectar to my ears. I do have to give Nintendo credit, they are really pushing out more DLC, but at least it is worthwhile to buy if you want more of the game and decently priced.

And like in almost every Platinum game, at the end you fight an over-confident, pompous boss upon whom you deliver a special brand of humiliation.

He's part of the reason I can't finish the first Master Quest map on Hyrule Warriors. So frustrating and boring to fight.

Have you ever asked you MIL if she might appreciate the Japanese idol culture and crossover RPG's? You may be pleasantly surprised (to find out she wasn't surprised you'd be into TMS#FE). Maybe she's more of a Dragon Quest fan anyway.

A wonderful choice! Almost as fun as TV.

Woah that's way more than I accomplished. I mostly liked waiting until more content was out to finish up what everyone else rushed through for endgame. I'm sure after my 60 days runs out, I'll leave again. Some of the new raids and dungeons looked fun. I have little hope I'll find a dedicated party since I'm pretty
