Comment's about the game's availability in the review article the other day was certainly a non-zero factor in my decision to purchase. And it just looks so damn cute and slick!

I fell into the massive, bottomless canyon more than once. I'm surprised the game didn't revoke my license.

I feel that XCX guilt, but I couldn't pass up getting TMS#FE for slightly cheaper on the off chance it became a lost classic. It looks cute and fun as all hell though. I kept destroying my robots in XCX so I felt like it was best I step back and let someone more responsible save humanity.

To celebrate an impending promotion and raise I went ahead and indulged in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, though I refuse to pronounce the "sharp" or even speak of the game in polite company. The amount of charm just oozed out of the screen and grabbed me (and the real possibility that copies will disappear). It should

Working on The Emperor of All Maladies by Siddhartha Mukherjee. His new book on genes and epigenetics looked a bit too fluffy for me (and he's an oncologist, not a geneticist) and an excerpt in the New Yorker got some derisive comments from experts. So far though, I've gotten to know a lot more about the history of

Sphere somehow managed to have much better twists than it should have in my opinion.

Saw Flight of the Conchords sing FotC songs at the Fox Theater in Detroit with a friend who was in town for the week. Beautiful theater, beautiful men, hilarious show.

Holy crap yeah that airship fight has been the most fun I've had so far. Most of the other bosses (including little dragon Leventhan there) are just damage sinks you attack from behind. I'm pretty excited reading your other post, that the main bosses' moves change when you rematch them.

Oh Dark Souls, that's gross.

I'm gonna play some of the excellent Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, which the team at ATLUS has improved extensively. Combat is vastly improved and incredibly smooth, though at times repetitive which is honestly the game's greatest weakness. The skill and ability management has been given a thorough spit-shine. And I

The SPORE we were promised, Will Wright! The SPORE we were promised! *sobbing*

"Screw it, Parker! I'll get those pictures of that blasted Spider-man myself! By any means necessary."

The Russo Bros. were particularly unhappy with Ms. VanCamp after she repeatedly flipped-off the camera during the kiss scene, thus forcing a total of 35 takes and 20 instances of tongue.

"Dad, why are some of the words red?"
"Well, my child, those are the parts of the Bible where very important things happen, like descriptions of human and animal genitalia or events of extreme violence. As is our faith."

I'm just going off the wiki, but it looks they are dropping the Hell on Earth title ends in November and The Devil You Know will be the final BPRD cycle. No idea how long that will last or when it starts. Give me time to catch up on my collection at least.

I dunno, the next story cycle for BPRD is titled "The Devil You Know" so I'm leaning towards him coming back. Hopefully not as Hell's emissary, cause he's had to put up with that destiny shit for the last two decades.

Hellboy and Aliens were my gateways into comics, so as far as Dark Horse is concerned, I'm a fan for life.

Everyone keeps typing "holodeck" and all I read is "holodick," which…yeah.

Thanks! I did find the hand-holding in Inside Story to be annoying, but tolerable. And those papercraft robot battles looked so cute. I guess I have no choice now.

I loathe those rocket barrel levels. Luckily the soundtrack to the game is so damn nice.
