Yeah I went pretty hard on XCX and then just stopped. I didn't put enough time in before other stuff came out and grabbed my attention. I had just gotten (and destroyed) a few of my uh….Orbital Frames/Gundams/Evangelions too.

Gonna keep on the keepin' on with Dark Souls 3 this weekend (SO SPOILERS). I'm almost through the cathedral, but that giant is being a jerk and it's 50/50 if I can get past him without dying. I managed to get a Rotten Ghru Curved Sword (that I can only assume is covered in Ghru-poo) from farming those suckers at

My strategy for those guys was to use my bow from the little hill next to them (the one with the estus soup) to draw them over and do some good damage, then throw fireballs at them. They can still hit you with their spells (so use a good spell blocking shield) and the tree, but you don't have them aggressively in your

The West Zone boss is practically a Dark Souls boss in art design and tactics, so maybe one will enhance the other?

You certainly proved that to be true! At least you guys showed us some shortcut while also showing us your backsides.

Everyone was so good at Mario Kart, my partner and I agreed to spend a couple of hours practicing next month.

Yeah the new, glorified tech demo of FFXV was a pretty terrible way to show off the game before release. The camera was a borderline child molester, hugging Noctis closely enough at times to make me motion sick. Luckily Episode Deuce was good enough and had a sufficient enough veneer of variety to guarantee a sale.

I feel like casual is a nice middle-ground. You can still lose the mission (easily… so, so easily) and the tension rises near the end and it's just your beat-up squad trying to eek out a victory (without the perma-death).

That is disappointing. The look of the game on 3DS is not very inspiring.

I've got Birthright on Hard/Casual and I still keep losing battles. I can't imagine what Conquest will be like.

Finish up Bayonetta 2! That final boss fight is just ridiculous.

I picked up Kid Icarus again last week and had a hand cramp for an hour after about ten minutes playing, so good luck.

Get the infini-drift upgrade first and learn to use it well in short bursts. Hitting walls with it will get you murdered in boss fights. Get the bullet shield 2nd, then whatever else you want afterwards. I did the bosses in this order: E, N, W. I think this is the order the developers wanted for a particular reason

Haha! Yeah….easy. I total didn't fail 4 of the 6 chapters at least once on Hard mode.

Yeah that's pretty exciting! Is there any kind of weapon upgrading system or forging or do you just buy/find/corpse-loot them?

Great! I wasn't sure if it would return me to the branching point or not.

I played Hyrule Warriors for about a month solid before moving on, but it has the benefit of pretty much all Musou games, in that you can come back to it anytime and have fun playing. The only thing I really didn't enjoy were some of the challenge maps, but hearing about the new DLC coming to the Wii U from Legends

Hearing the hub-bub about FE: Fates being a better FE: Awakening convinced me to go ahead and give up on beating it (it was getting kinda boring storywise, anyway). So I downloaded Birthright and it's pretty good so far. I'll probably keep it going with DSIII after it drops. With those I should be set 'til June, when

Yeah it is inscrutable in some aspects and on the other hand you have frog-people villages with flayed dog-people and corpse piles. I've enjoyed it quite a bit so far as well, especially how rewarding the exploring has been. But I would give anything for a better description of the upgraded moves (ie why don't I

So I was enjoying Hyper Light Drifter until a some repeated deaths coupled with annoying design made me angry. It isn't very long so I'll probably come back when I have more patience. I'll probably keep playing Resident Evil HD Remaster. I just finished off Plant 42 and the shark friends and now I'm back in the
