@tsukasa1288: Let's be clear. While the 360 dpad sucks, the PS3 dpad isn't much better. My PSP dpad sucks total balls.

@MrBionic: So true. Played countless of hours of racing games or whatever splitscreen on my old 51cm TV set.

"In other words, it looks (to me, anyway) like it makes anti-DRM complaints seem a little more absolutist and unreasonable."

Video marketplace? You could try launching it in Australia, Microsoft.

@Skinney: People said the same thing going into 2008.

@GexX2: Exactly.. there are so many legitimate uses for a flashcard. I strongly disagree with tagging this article 'piracy' - all a flashcard does is virtually unlock the unit like a PC.

People chillax. I assume this doesn't include all the other overheads relating to getting the console out there for sale.

Ahh.. Halo 3. I'm a fan of the series, but have never been able to really get into the multiplayer. Most I've put in is about 6-7 hours for Halo PC multi, which is pretty good actually. Halo 3's MP just never quite got me, I hated the maps.

@Mire: Ugh, couldn't agree more. I couldn't fathom why any half-sane reviewer would give a positive score to Lego Batman, when what you're essentially getting is exactly the same game as Lego SW and IJ, just with Batman instead..

The most frustrating thing... is that this doesn't help them whatsoever.

I'm happy with my current setup of a gaming PC and a 360 - it's arguably the best option at the moment with the cheaper price and wider selection of games.

I'm confused. I'm pretty sure the 360 and PS3 can't do PhysX processing.. so why does Gears 2 have a PhysX logo at the end of the credits?

That's not bad for GHWT considering it came out on October 26th.

@B33b3s: Bahahaha, nice.

@Xero_Azmea: Heh, really? In Australia the Limited Edition and the Standard Edition was the same price so... I don't really lose out with my LE purchase (although I haven't actually booted the game up yet despite buying it at launch).

The Halo soundtracks are a large part of the appeal of the series for me. Halo 2's in particular had some spectacular pieces that made me forget that a large portion of the game was fairly mediocre.

@sander_dutch: The way exchange rates are going nowadays though.. that's arguable. We pay 80 AUD for a new release.. about 54 USD with the current insanely horrible rates.

@ryivanV2: My online adventures indicate that the 360 has an attach rate over two games higher than the PS3.
